Safety Policy

Our Commitment to Safety

At MODDSYS, safety is the foundation of everything we build and deploy. We are committed to ensuring that every robotic integration, automation cell, and industrial system we deliver meets or exceeds applicable safety standards, including ISO 10218, ISO/TS 15066, and relevant regional regulations.

Risk Assessment

Every project begins with a comprehensive risk assessment conducted by our certified safety engineers. We identify hazards, evaluate risks, and implement appropriate safeguards before any system is commissioned. Our assessments follow EN ISO 12100 methodology and are documented and retained for the lifetime of the installation.

Functional Safety

Our systems are designed with functional safety principles at their core. Safety-rated control architectures, emergency stop circuits, light curtains, area scanners, and interlocked guarding are specified and validated in accordance with IEC 62061 and ISO 13849. Safety integrity levels (SIL) and performance levels (PL) are verified through rigorous analysis and third-party validation where required.

Operator Training

We provide comprehensive operator and maintenance training for every system we deploy. Training programs cover safe operating procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, emergency response, and routine maintenance tasks. Documentation is provided in the language of the facility's workforce.

Incident Reporting

We maintain an open-door policy for safety concerns. If you observe a safety issue related to a MODDSYS system, please contact us immediately at hello@moddsys.com. All reports are investigated promptly and corrective actions are documented and communicated.

Continuous Improvement

Safety is not a destination — it is an ongoing process. We review our safety practices annually, incorporate lessons learned from the field, and update our standards in response to new regulations, industry guidance, and technological developments.
